VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – While the pundits aren’t exactly sure who’s winning — a new poll sheds light on how people are feeling about the party leaders ahead of this year’s federal election.
The latest survey from Abacus Data indicates Conservative leader Stephen Harper is seeing his worst ratings in quite some time.
Forty-seven percent of those surveyed feel negatively toward Stephen Harper, his worst rating in this category since March of last year.
David Coletto is with Abacus Data, which carried out this poll.
“What we found, for example, is that views about the prime minister have gotten worse to some extent. Now 47 per cent of Canadians have a negative impression of him.”
Tom Mulcair with the NDP, Justin Trudeau with the Liberals and Elizabeth May with the Greens all saw positive feelings for them ont he rise.
Mulcair fared the best, with 41 per cent of those polled viewing him positively.
